Ploughed on in :)

It was hard work — had to push to get the speed up to ten, and if I had downgrade I topped 12 a few times — but I got ye olde 45 pound Gazelle with underinflated tyres and 106 studs and a brake cable dragging and stuck in Gear 3  across the slightly slushy roads.  WInds 18 mph (which I felt in the relatively open spots), temp 16 (totally irrelevant — I was workin’ too hard for *anything* to be chilly even for a minute).   Might suck up the courage to try the folder tomorrow, except that it will be single digits so what is slush today will be rocky and bumpy tomorrow.

There is sadness, adn you find out quicker with social networking… but I do appreciate being able to know about things. When it’s time to let go, let go.
