Well, people found this site searching for info on free bike lights, so here’s the scoop:
It gets dark. It’s illegal to ride without lights. Lots of folks have gotten together and gotten hundreds of sets of Planet Bike blinkies for front and rear – CUMTD was one of the partners behind getting them, as well as the Bike Project.
Monday, oct. 27, Illinois and …Lincoln? I think! Get out there on your bike and cruise Illinois ’til you find ‘em. 4:30 – … til they run out or 8:30, and I bet they run out.
